Our story
A little history
Cargo Data Systems (CDS) was founded in 1991 and was based for many years at Schiphol. And during that time, we developed AirSprinter for air freight forwarders. AirSprinter ran on simple hardware and under MS-DOS, the famous green and yellow screens. Afterwards, RoadSprinter was also developed for the road freight forwarder.
At 1998 work began on developing the widely known and highly regarded Sprinter 2000. This new software package was launched for the first delivered in 2000 and turned under Windows.
Sprinter 2000 got modules for road expedition, air freight, sea freight, customs declarations and WMS.
To better serve both Belgian and Dutch customers, we moved the office in 2006 to Roosendaal. Due to the growth of CDS, we involved in 2015 the current premises in Oud Gastel.
After nearly 20 years of loyal service, we decided in 2017 That it was time for a Successor to Sprinter 2000. The new package, called Sprinter 3000, turns completely in the cloud and can be used anytime, anywhere. In 2019, a number of pilot customers started using the first version.
Since 2022 Sprinter 3000 contains all known modules. And to this day, the entire CDS team is working hard to make Sprinter 3000 even better, so that we can use smart solutions to help our customers work even more efficiently and quickly.
